Before this season, no one in M.E.T.S. basketball history had reached the 1,000-career point milestone. Now we have one! Brianna Lee joined an exclusive club in the 1,000-point club on 2/23/18 by scoring 22 points in the Mustangs’ 48-20 win over Bergen Charter. Brianna has been a scorer all of her career and entered the game with 979 points. The most amazing feat is that as a junior she has a season average double-double. Each game Brianna is averaging 23.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, and dishes out 5.5 assists.
Brianna has led the team to this spectacular season. The Mustangs have won the Hudson River Classic Holiday Tournament, which was the very first title in M.E.T.S. Athletics history. The Mustangs also came away with the New Jersey Charter School Athletic League regular season crown, and then won the New Jersey Charter School Athletic League tournament title. With the help of fellow junior, Joscelyn Williams, and rising star freshman, Kamrin Babbs, everyone is excited to see what heights Brianna Lee can take Mustang Basketball.
