M.E.T.S. is excited to start a new chapter with its new Newark campus location for the 2018-2019 school year.  Please find facts about the location, important dates, registration, and uniforms below.  M.E.T.S. Charter school is eager for this fresh start and can't wait to start the new school year at the end of this summer!

Where is the new building?

The new building is located on 570 Broad St, Newark, NJ 07102. Please use the side entrance on Fulton Street.

Important dates

When is the first day of school?

The first day for all students will be on August 27th, 2018.

 

When will the move take place?

We will not be fully moved into the new location until July 25th, 2018.

 

Registration

All parents and guardians applying for our Newark Campus must apply through Newark Enrolls and comply with their lottery system.  You are only able to request information regarding the Newark Campus through this website Newark residences who wish to apply to the Jersey City location can use our application.  Once you have been matched to M.E.T.S. Charter School through Newark Enrolls you must come in to the M.E.T.S. Main office to register.

In accordance with our charter, METS enrollment process works through a lottery system. The lottery starts January 15th, 2017. The lottery is activated on the 15th of every month until all available slots are filled. For all applying to the Newark Campus, you must apply through Newark Enrolls and comply with their lottery and application regulations.

Uniforms

Uniforms will be available for pick up/purchase on August 1st from the Newark location.

Please order your uniform by filling out the Uniform Order Form and handing it in with payment to the Main Office of your campus.  Cash and Money Order are accepted. M.E.T.S. Charter School does not accept checks. Please make the Money Orders payable to M.E.T.S. Charter School.  The uniforms are available in Adult Small through Adult 3XL.
