Dear M.E.T.S. Students and Family members,

We are very proud to be the Dean’s at M.E.T.S. Charter School because we have a wonderful group of students and staff. Our main goals are to build positive relationships with all students and parents, promote positive behavior and school safety.  Fostering an equitable and creative learning environment that prepares all of our students for their future is something that we are always focused on.

We use an approach which combines educational engagement, prevention, interventions, and maintenance. Our time as educators has given us the understanding and importance of good social skills for adolescents.  Good social skills are critical to successful functioning in life. These skills enable us to know what to do and how to behave in diverse situations.  When students have a full repertoire of social skills they will have the ability to make social choices that will develop relationships and facilitate success in life.

We truly believe that communication is the key to success.  Our door is always open.  Please do not hesitate to call with questions or concerns so we can ensure a successful year for your child.  When the community of M.E.T.S. Charter School works together our students make great strides to becoming extraordinary!
