Students Help build M.E.T.S. Computer Lab!

METS Vailsburg Computer Lab

Over the course of the school year, M.E.T.S. Vailsburg students were taught the functionalities and concepts of building a computer from scratch. Using the knowledge they learned, students built 10 computers needed for the new computer science lab.

These custom built computers have provided students a lab to work on lessons, resumes and access to many programs, such as Visual Studio, Photoshop, FL Studios, and Eclipse.

The computer lab is also home to the computer science class where students learn how to code programs and edit videos, skills needed to pursue STEM related degrees.

We are extremely proud of our students and their help in making our computer lab possible!
